International Student Bodies Express Solidarity With Indian Protest Movement

<p>In a significant development on July 23, student organizations from 15 countries have issued formal statements of solidarity with the Indian student protesters. The National Union of Students (UK), Harvard Graduate Student Union, Oxford Student Union, and MIT Graduate Student Council are among those who have called for accountability in the NEET-UG scandal.</p><p>The UN Special Rapporteur on Education released a statement calling the paper leak "a systemic failure that undermines the right to education for millions" and urged the Indian government to "ensure a transparent, court-monitored investigation."</p><p>CJP spokesperson Rohan Mehta, 21, said: "This is no longer just an Indian issue. When you rig exams that decide the futures of 24 lakh students, the whole world notices."</p>
